On behalf of the fantastic charity Bees for Development we invite you to the social highlight of the Bee Season: Bees for Development’s biennial Bee Garden Party on the 12th June 2019 in the private gardens of Marlborough House in London’s Mall, by kind permission of HM The Queen.

This is your chance to own unique Bee Art!

Artists and celebrities from across the media have created wonderful bee art and bee doodles on postcards, with their signature on the back of the card – though sometimes with a clue on the front. Can you guess who is the artist of each picture?

Contributing artists and ‘doodlers’ already include Judi Dench, Antony Gormley, Mona Hatoum, Kate Humble, Alexander Armstrong, Andrew Marr, Ian McKellen, Alison Steadman, Rachel Whiteread – with more contributions arriving every day.

But quick, this on-line auction opened for bids at dawn on World Bee Day – Monday May 20, so place your bid now!

The cards will be displayed at the Bee Garden Party on Wednesday 12 June, with the auction closing at 7.30 pm, when those with winning bids will discover the artist behind their bee picture!

The Bee Art Auction is curated for Bees for Development by Artist and Bee Activist, Alex Hirtzel.
