Beekeeping for Beginners Taster Session - 5th September 2020
You might be toying with the idea of purchasing a beehive, but full of questions. Join a member of the London Honey Company beekeeping team for an introduction to those early requirements of this ancient craft and some honeybee titillation.
We will cover basic honeybee and beehive matters as well as preparations for the following season; siting beehives, beekeeping equipment and honeybee stock are a few examples, as well as specifics on urban beekeeping.
Whilst we won’t be opening bees at this session, after this event we would encourage you then to attend one of our more comprehensive days, as keeping honeybees in an urban environment requires careful and serious consideration and we can offer you guidance throughout the year and expand your honeybee knowledge.
We will email you a gift voucher if this course is to be given as a gift for someone.
Course location: Our warehouse in Bermondsey, South East London.
Time: 10.00am - 1.30pm
Terms and Conditions
We have high demand for our courses and put a lot of energy into organising them so that all involved enjoy the day.
